The Q-ARM EDF project successfully held its Consortium Meeting on 23–24 September 2026 in Évora, Portugal, hosted at the premises of N10gled.
During these intensive two days, partners came together to assess the progress of the R&D activities achieved so far and to discuss the work ahead towards the integration of the Q-ARM system.
We are proud to see that the project is progressing well, with several important milestones already achieved:
🔹 The blockchain platform has been selected.
🔹 The Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) algorithms have been selected.
🔹 Both the electronic and optical QRNGs are at advanced stages of development.
🔹 The QKD and KMS systems are progressing according to schedule.
These achievements provide a strong foundation as we move forward into the second year of the project, with integration activities becoming increasingly central to our work.
A sincere thank you to N10gled for hosting us in Évora and for the excellent organisation and hospitality.
And there is more to come. Stay tuned for our next update on the first Q-ARM publication, which will be presented at the NATO Symposium on Quantum Technologies in Båstad, Sweden, in October. The paper will be presented by the Project Coordinator (ALMAVIVA), and we are very pleased to see the project’s first publication reaching this important international forum.
We look forward to an exciting and productive second year of Q-ARM.
